For the relief of Vichai Sae Tung (also known as Chai
Chaowasaree).
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. PERMANENT RESIDENCE STATUS FOR VICHAI 3
SAE TUNG. 4
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Notwithstanding any other provi-5
sion of law, for purposes of the Immigration and Nation-6
ality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 et seq.), Vichai Sae Tung (also 7
known as Chai Chaowasaree) shall be held and considered 8
to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for 9
permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of 10
this Act upon payment of the required visa fees. 11

(b) REDUCTION OF NUMBER OF AVAILABLE 1

ISAS.—Upon the granting of permanent residence to 2
Vichai Sae Tung (also known as Chai Chaowasaree) pur-3
suant to subsection (a), the Secretary of State shall in-4
struct the proper officer to reduce by one, during the cur-5
rent or subsequent fiscal year, the total number of immi-6
grant visas available to natives of the country of the alien’s 7
birth under section 203(a) of the Immigration and Nation-8
ality Act (8 U.S.C. 1153(a)). 9
