ItisherebyenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyoftheStateofVermont:
Sec.1.12V.S.A.§ 4854isamendedtoread:
§4854.JUDGMENTFORPLAINTIFF;WRITOFPOSSESSION
Ifthecourtfindsthattheplaintiffisentitledtopossessionofthepremises,
theplaintiffshallhavejudgmentforpossessionandrentsdue,damages,and
costs,andwhenawrittenrentalagreementsoprovides,thecourtmayaward
reasonableattorney’sfees.Awritofpossessionshallissueonthedate
judgmentisentered,unlessthecourtforgoodcauseordersastay.Thewrit
shalldirectthesheriffofthecountyinwhichthepropertyoraportionthereof
islocated,orthesheriffofanyothercounty,toservethewrituponthe

Sec.2.EFFECTIVEDATE
Thisactshalltakeeffectonpassage.
Sec.1.12V.S.A.§ 4854isamendedtoread:
