Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to repeal 31 8
V.S.A. chapters 14 (State Lottery) and 25 (sports wagering) and ensure that 9
any person offering a lottery or sports wagering is subject to the criminal 10
provisions of 13 V.S.A. chapter 51 (gambling and lotteries). 11
