Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to add to the Bill 11
of Rights for Hospital Patients the right not to be denied admission, care, or 12
services based solely on the patient’s vaccination status. 13
An act relating to a hospital patient’s right not to be denied care based on 14
vaccination status 15
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont: 16
Sec. 1. 18 V.S.A. § 1852 is amended to read: 17
§ 1852. PATIENTS’ BILL OF RIGHTS; ADOPTION 18
(a) The General Assembly hereby adopts the “Bill of Rights for Hospital 19
