Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to authorize 9
municipal corporations to adopt electronic voting systems for annual municipal 10
meetings. This bill further proposes to require that the electronic voting 11
system allow voters to vote electronically in person or remotely for all 12
elections and public questions, whether conducted from the floor or by ballot. 13

It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont: 16
