Resorthostedthegirls’andboys’combinedStatechampionshipmeet, and
Whereas,theNorthCountryFalcons,snowboardingonfamiliartrails,delightedtheirhometown
supporters, and
Whereas,theFalcongirls’performancesweresuperb,andespeciallymemorablewasateammemberwho
wontheoverallindividualStategirls’title,andaNorthCountrycolleaguetrailedcloselywithathird-place
finish, and
Whereas,althoughnottheteamchampions,theFalcongirls,consistingofAineRemmers,DakotahBowen,
WillowClements,AubreySicotte,HavenBrunell,EliahDillion,andSophieCorkins,scoredastrongsecond-
placeoverallscore, and
Whereas,theFalconboyswonboththegiantslalom,inwhichquicknessandsteadinessontheslopeare
essentialelements,andtherailjam,a competitionprofilingasnowboarder’sabilitytoperformtricksonarail
orrailswhilebeingassessedforstyle,technique,andcreativity, and
Whereas,aftertallyingalltheboys’scores,NorthCountrywasontop,surpassingsecond-placeBurrand
BurtonAcademy,andtheFalconteam,composedofCarsonLimlaw,LoganEllis,QuinnGoff,Armond
Capron,CarsonLaCroix,EmmettWilliams,ChaseCurrie,andGregoryRondeau,proudlybroughthometheir
school’sfirstsnowboardingtitle, and
Whereas,HeadCoachRobertWalls-Thumma,whoreturnedtoNorthCountrythisyearaftercoaching
elsewhere,andAssistantCoachBethKoenninckewereproudofalltheNorthCountrysnowboarders’
achievements,nowtherefore be it
