skiersastheydashedandglidedtheirwaytoglory, and
Whereas,thisconfidentandskilledcontingentofsnowytrailenthusiasts
wasexceptionallywellprepared,havingearnedsecondplaceineachofthe
priortwoyears, and
Whereas,thetwo-dayskiingcompetitionconsistedofthefirstday’s
freestylerunsheldinCraftsburyandtheconcludingday’sclassicalracingat
ProspectMountain,atwhichMontpelieremergedastheday’swinner, and
Whereas,whenallthescoresweretallied,theSolonshadclinchedthe2025
Nordicskiingtitle,andthedelightedMontpelierskierswerePhoebeBakeman,
SaraSaligmanMcGill,AnnaNewara,AdelePritchard,ClarePritchard,
MiriamSerota-Winston,MarieVoisin,andAnnaWetherell, and
Whereas,HeadCoachBrianCarlsonandassistantcoachesJasonSerota-
WinstonandHughPritchardwereproudoftheteam,now therefore be it
ResolvedbytheSenateandHouseofRepresentatives:
ThattheGeneralAssemblycongratulatesthe2025MontpelierHighSchool
SolonsDivisionIIgirls’Nordicchampionshipskiteam,andbeitfurther
Resolved:ThattheSecretaryofStatebedirectedtosendacopyofthis
