HighlandershadtwoencountersinwhichMontpelierstronglyoutscoredHarwood,andthehighly
experiencedSolonsteamwasdeterminedtorepeatthoseearlieron-courtperformancesattheDivisionII
championshipcontestplayedattheBarreAuditorium, and
Whereas,thegameprovedtobeaspiritedhoopencounter,asathalftimethe40–30Montpelierlead
wasnotinsurmountable, and
Whereas,recognizingtheHighlanders’perseverance,theSolonsacceleratedtheirfourth-quarter
drive,outscoringHarwood19–10,ensuringafinal68–57victory,andachievingaconsecutive-year
boys’basketballchampionshiprecordnotseeninVermonthighschoolcompetitioninoverthree
decades, and

Cody,ClaytonFoster,CaydenHaley,WinterHolloway,WestonJones,AtifMilak,OrionNuss,Joseph
Nyiringabo,Stone Poor,ColbySterling-Proulx,EliadesToman-Greenberg,andAlexWeinstein, and
Whereas,HeadCoachNickFosterandassistantcoachesBillBruzzese,RyanBooth,andAnthony
Robertsinspiredtheteamthroughoutthe2024–2025basketballseason,nowtherefore be it
