Whereas,onMarch29,2025,the17threnditionofthisunusualcookingextravaganza,whichencouragesstudentchefs
“tocreatelocallysourcedmealsthatpromoteVermont’sFarmtoSchool”program,wasconvenedattheChamplain
ValleyExpositioninEssexJunction, and
Whereas,thepopularityofthiscareerexplorationinitiativeisreflectedinthemorethan5,000Vermontmiddleand
highschoolstudents,whosince2008haveenthusiasticallymaximizedtheircookingskillsandingenuityasmembersof
1,000participatingteams, and
