Remedial Legislation
2023 Wisconsin Act 263 is remedial legislation introduced by the Law Revision Committee, at the
request of the Office of the State Treasurer. The act eliminates the obsolete requirement that the
Division of Banking in the Department of Financial Institutions transfers certain moneys it receives
relating to a bank liquidation to the state treasurer.
Effective date: March 31, 2024
