2023 WISCONSIN ACT 66
AN ACT to create 23.0925 of the statutes; relating to: Department of Natural Resources habitat work plan.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in
senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
SECTION 1. 23.0925 of the statutes is created to read:
23.0925 Habitat work plan. The department shall
prepare a biennial work plan that coincides with the bien-
nial state budget process. The plan shall establish priori-
ties and goals for habitat work on lands managed by the
department and measure progress on established priori-
ties and goals. The department shall annually report its
progress on habitat work plan goals to the natural
resources board, the joint committee on finance, and the
relevant standing committees of the legislature.
