Seasonal Period for Farm Service
License Endorsement
An “F” or “farm service” endorsement on a driver’s license authorizes a seasonal employee of a farm
service industry employer to operate certain types of commercial motor vehicles within 150 miles of the
of the farm service industry employer’s place of business or, with respect to custom harvesters, within
150 miles of the farm currently being served.
2023 Wisconsin Act 28 extends the seasonal period for which an “F” endorsement may authorize this
type of operation from 180 days in any calendar year to 210 days in any calendar year.
Effective date: August 6, 2023
