Cities and towns notice for zoning changes-amendments.

A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to cities and towns; requiring cities and
2 towns to provide notice to landowners within a certain
3 distance of proposed zoning changes; specifying
4 applicability; and providing for an effective date.

8. W.S. 15-1-612 is created to read:

13 Cities and towns shall send notice, by mail, to all
14 landowners within a zoning district or area that will be
15 subject to any zoning change and to all landowners within 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-05282HB0056
1 one thousand (1,000) feet of the affected zoning district
2 or area. For purposes of this section, "zoning change"
3 includes the creation of zoning requirements, conditional
4 use approvals, master plan amendments, zoning assignments,
5 zoning map amendments and zoning variances.

7This act shall apply to zoning change
8 applications filed on and after July 1, 2025.
