Assumptions: The School Activity Eligibility Commission would be repealed July 1, 2025, and no longer require clerical or administrative support from the Wyoming Department of Education and members of the School Activity Eligibility Commission would not receive per diem. The Wyoming Department of Education estimates a General Fund expenditure decrease of $50,000 each fiscal year related to the costs associated with the School Activity Eligibility Commission. This bill also expands the prohibition of males competing in an athletic activity designated for females to grades kindergarten through six and institutions of higher education. The University of Wyoming (University) indicates that the fiscal impact to the University is indeterminable at this time. The fiscal impact to the judicial system is indeterminable due to an unknown number of cases.
