Senior citizen service districts-authorization and renewal.

A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to counties; amending the length of time
2 for approval of a mill levy proposition for senior citizen
3 service districts; amending the process for reconsidering
4 mill levies for senior citizen service districts; and
5 providing for an effective date.

9. W.S. 18-15-102(d) is amended to read:

13 (d) If the proposition to authorize a mill levy is
14 approved by the qualified electors of the proposed district

1 impose a levy in the same or at a different amount not to
2 exceed two (2) mills, shall be submitted to the resident
3 electors within the proposed district at the first general
4 election held years after the election
5 authorizing the district.

7 continue a mill levy is defeated, the proposition shall not
8 be submitted to the electors for a period of not less than
9 one (1) year.
