Assumptions: This estimate was provided by the Department of Revenue’s Liquor Division. The excise tax collected on malt beverages in FY 2024 was $247,768. Based on a seven-year average, malt beverage excise taxes have increased 0.03 percent per year. The FY 2026 through FY 2028 estimates in the table above are projected with an annual increase of 0.03 percent. If this bill passes these malt beverage taxes will not be collected.
