A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; authorizing annual 
2 permits for hauling prefabricated buildings, panels and 
3 trusses; authorizing annual permits for hauling forest 
4 products, baled hay and combine headers; specifying permit 
5 fees; requiring rulemaking; and providing for effective 
6 dates.

11 subsection (w) is amended to read:

2HB01321 (a)  The director or his authorized representative may 
2 issue permits for separate movements or extended periods of 
3 movement effective  for one (1) or more 
4 months, not to exceed ninety (90) days permitting hauling 
5 of forest products, baled hay or combine headers. No permit 
6 issued under this section shall be granted for any load of 
7 forest products exceeding one hundred twelve (112) inches 
8 in width or any load of baled hay or combine headers 
9 exceeding one hundred fifty (150) inches in width and 
10 fifteen (15) feet in height. No single component of the 
11 load may exceed one hundred two (102) inches in width. The 
12 fee for a single trip permit is fifteen dollars ($15.00). 
13 The fee for an extended period permit 
14 is fifty dollars

7The department of transportation shall 
8 promulgate all rules necessary to implement this act. 
9

12 (a)  Except as provided in subsection (b) of this 
13 section, this act is effective July 1, 2025. 
14
15 (b)  Sections 2 and 3 of this act are effective 
16 immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a 
17 bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of 
18 the Wyoming Constitution.
