FISCAL NOTE
This bill contains an appropriation of $7,500,000 from the GENERAL FUND to the
proposed Natural Resource Litigation Account. This appropriation is effective
immediately.
This bill renames and continues the Coal-Fired Facility Closures Litigation
Funding Account previously created by 2021 Wyoming Session Laws, Ch. 112, Sec. 2
and continued by 2023 Wyoming Session Laws, Ch. 6, Sec. 1. Any funds in the
account on the effective date of the bill will remain in the account.
Funds in the proposed account are continuously appropriated to the Governor’s
Office for litigation expenses.
