Description of Appropriation:
This bill allows for the Board to regulate denturists, in addition to the other
practices already regulated by the Board. The appropriation will be used to cover
administrative costs to implement the bill.
Assumptions:
An average of 100 hours of staff time per month at an average cost of $7,500 per
month. Due to additional meetings, training, and development of forms and
processes by staff. The Board anticipates an additional 10 hours of staff time
per month for the first year at a cost of $75.00 per hour, totaling $750.00 per
month or $9,000 per year.
The fiscal impact in the form of a revenue increase to the Board’s account in the
SPECIAL REVENUE FUND from increased licensing fees to the Board, is
indeterminable due to an unknown number of applicants to be licensed as
denturists.
