Description of appropriation:
Funds in the proposed Runoff Election Account shall not revert and are
continuously appropriated to the Secretary of State for costs related to
administering runoff elections.
The Secretary of State’s Office would need to make changes to the voter
registration system, WyoReg, and the campaign finance filing system, WYCFIS.
WyoReg upgrades would cost $247,968 and WYCFIS upgrades would cost $35,218.
The Secretary of State’s Office indicates that the cost of conducting a statewide
runoff election is unknown.
