Wyoming House Bill HB0269 Introduced / Fiscal Note

HB0269
FISCAL NOTE
FY 2026FY 2027FY 2028NON-ADMINISTRATIVE IMPACTAnticipated Revenue increaseSPECIAL REVENUE FUND (Application Fees)$11,000 $1,100 $1,100 SPECIAL REVENUE FUND (Renewal Fees)$0 $4,950 $5,400
Source of revenue increase:
The increase in revenues is due to licensing fees collected by the Board,
specifically application fees beginning in 2026. There is an estimated 10%
increase in applications as well as annual renewal fees beginning in 2027 for
Naturopathic Doctors.
Assumptions:
The amounts calculated assume that the approximately 10 Naturopathic Doctors
(NDs) practicing in Wyoming at this time apply for licensure, with renewal fees
generated beginning in 2027. Due to the low number of NDs currently in the state,
in order to cover the shared cost of providing administrative services to the
Board, the current fee of $1,100 for initial lic3ensure and $450 for renewal for
the Board would be the same for NDs and would need to remain. This revenue would
be in addition to the revenue currently generated by the current Board which
issues licenses and processes for both Acupuncture and Auricular Acupuncture.
NOTICE-AGENCY ESTIMATE OF ADMINISTRATIVE IMPACT REQUESTED

responsibilities of one or more state agencies and may impact agency spending or
staffing requirements. As introduced, the bill does not modify any state agency
budget or current personnel authorizations.
The following state agencies will be asked to provide their estimate of the
