Repeal of Medicaid birth cost bureaucracy.

1 AN ACT relating to welfare; repealing the Medicaid Fairness
2 Act and related provisions; making conforming changes;
3 providing for the continuation of actions, rights and
4 obligations as specified; and providing for an effective
5 date.

14 (a) If any provision of this title

1 law or to come in conflict with federal law due to new
2 federal enactments, the department shall:

4W.S. 14-2-822(g), 14-2-1001 through
5 14-2-1008, 20-2-401(f) and (g) and 42-4-122 are repealed.

7. Any proceeding or action brought under the
8 Medicaid Fairness Act before July 1, 2025 and any rights
9 acquired or obligations incurred under the Medicaid
10 Fairness Act before July 1, 2025 shall remain active and
11 valid after July 1, 2025.

13. This act is effective July 1, 2025
