FISCAL NOTE
This bill contains an appropriation of $320,000 from the GENERAL FUND to the WYOMING 
IMAGINATION LIBRARY PROGRAM ACCOUNT created by this bill.

Description of appropriation: 
The appropriation will be deposited into the Wyoming Imagination Library Program 
Account (Account) and be used to match funds from county based affiliate programs 
across Wyoming for 50 percent of the funds required to operate the Wyoming 
Imagination Library Program in the county.
The appropriation is effective July 1, 2025, and shall not revert and is continuously 
appropriated. The appropriation is intended to be included in the Department of 
Education’s (Department) standard budget for the immediately succeeding fiscal 
biennium. 
Each participating county based affiliate program’s match will result in an 
anticipated, indeterminable revenue increase to the Account, not to exceed $320,000 
in FY 2026. The Department shall provide each participating county based affiliate 
program an additional amount from the Account not to exceed the amount received by 
the participating county based affiliate program, resulting in an anticipated, 
indeterminable expenditure increase, not to exceed $320,000 in FY 2026. 
NOTICE-AGENCY ESTIMATE OF ADMINISTRATIVE IMPACT REQUESTED
This bill has administrative impact that appears to increase duties or 
responsibilities of one or more state agencies and may impact agency spending or 
staffing requirements. As introduced, the bill does not modify any state agency 
budget or current personnel authorizations.

administrative fiscal impact prior to the first committee meeting held to consider 
the bill:
