1 AN ACT relating to ballots; requiring candidates for school
2 board trustee to have their political party affiliation
3 printed on general election ballots; requiring rulemaking;
4 and providing for an effective date.

8. W.S. 22-6-131 is created to read:

13 A candidate for school board trustee shall have printed on
14 the general election ballot the political party with which 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-04712SF0098
1 the candidate is affiliated. The secretary of state shall
2 promulgate any necessary rules to implement this section.

4. W.S. 22-6-123 is amended to read:

9 Primary and general election ballots for nonpartisan
10 offices and ballot propositions shall be printed on yellow
11 paper or paper with yellow demarcation as provided by rule
12 and regulation of the secretary of state, separate from
13 partisan ballots. They shall contain no political party
14 designations,
15 shall conform to the same general requirements for official
16 partisan ballots except as otherwise specifically provided.
