Assumptions: The Board of Medicine assumes it will set an application fee of $200 and a renewal fee of $80. The Board of Medicines then assumes twelve (12) initial license applications in fiscal year 2026 and eight (8) each fiscal year thereafter. The Board of Medicine estimates approximately 90 percent of licenses would be renewed annually. The Board of Medicine indicates there will be an initial administrative impact to implement this bill. For the three years analyzed in this fiscal note, the Board of Medicine estimates the costs to administer these licenses will be greater than the estimated revenues collected. The Board of Medicine anticipates other licensing revenue will be required to cover the full cost of the bill’s implementation.
