Source of expenditure increase:
The bill provides for the creation of a rodeo license plate. The Department of
Transportation (Department) would experience an expenditure increase for plate
design and testing.
Assumptions:
It is assumed that there would be one-time expenditure increase of $2,000 for
plate design and testing.
Application forms shall include the option for the applicant to donate $1.00 or
more to support rodeo programs at the University of Wyoming and Wyoming community
colleges. These monetary donations received each year will be split evenly
between the University of Wyoming and each community college for purposes of
supporting rodeo programs.
The expenditure increase reflected above could be considered an administrative
cost. However, for simplicity and to follow consistent practice on legislation of
this type, it is included on the fiscal note.
