To improve the operating efficiency of the Labor Department by requiring employers to (1) pay a penalty of one hundred dollars if such employer fails to electronically notify the department within fifteen days of becoming subject to the provisions of chapter 567 of the general statutes or upon acquiring any part of the assets, organization, trade or business of another employer subject to chapter 567 of the general statutes, and (2) pay a fee of fifty dollars if such employer submits a tax and wage report without being properly registered.
