An Act To Amend Section 23-15-171, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That If Any Vacancies Occur In A Municipal Executive Committee Within Ninety Days Of A Municipal Primary Election, The State Executive Committee Shall Fill The Vacancies; To Provide That Any Person Appointed To A Municipal Executive Committee By The State Executive Committee Shall Remain In That Position Until The Next Regular Election For Executive Committees; To Bring Forward Sections 23-15-309 And 23-15-313, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Sections 23-15-309, 23-15-171 And 23-15-305, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That If After The Deadline To Qualify As A Candidate For An Office, Only One Person Has Duly Qualified To Be A Candidate For An Office In The Municipal Primary Election, The Proper Municipal Executive Committee Shall Place The Name Of That Person On The Municipal Primary Election Ballot; To Provide That If Not More Than One Person Has Duly Qualified To Be A Candidate For Each Office On The Primary Election Ballot, The Election For All Offices On The Ballot Shall Be Dispensed With And The Municipal Executive Committee Shall Declare Each Candidate As The Party Nominee If The Candidate Meets All The Qualifications To Hold The Office; To Provide That After The Municipal Primary Election, The Proper Municipal Executive Committee Shall Declare The Unopposed Person To Be The Party Nominee For That Office; To Bring Forward Sections 23-15-361 And 23-15-857, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 43-13-117, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Direct On-site Supervisor Of A Provider In A Managed Care Organization Under Any Managed Care Program Implemented By The Division Of Medicaid Who Has Begun The Process For Credentialing And Previously Has Not Been Denied Credentialing To Sign Off On The Work Of The Provider During The Time That The Provider Is Awaiting A Decision On His Or Her Credentialing, And To Allow The Provider To Receive Reimbursement From The Organization For The Work That Has Been Signed Off On By The Supervisor; To Amend Section 43-13-121, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Whenever The Division Determines After A Hearing That A Provider Has Violated Any Provision Of The Medicaid Law, The Division May Not Suspend Reimbursement Payments To The Provider During The Time That The Decision Of The Division Is On Appeal By The Provider, Unless The Provider Previously Has Been Convicted Of Fraud In Connection With The Medicaid Program; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 47-7-34, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify That The Maximum Five Years That May Be Imposed By A Court For Post-release Supervision May Be Extended Under Certain Circumstances; To Amend Section 47-7-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Court May Fix The Period Of Probation To The Statutory Maximum Period Which The Defendant Might Originally Have Been Sentenced To As Long As Such Period Does Not Exceed Five Years; To Provide That An Offender May Not Have His Or Her Probation Revoked If The Offender Has Committed An Initial Technical Violation Under Certain Circumstances; To Provide That For The Second Technical Violation, Rather Than The Third Violation, An Offender May Be Imprisoned In A Technical Violation Center Or A Restitution Center For Fourteen Days Rather Than 120 Days; To Provide That For A Third Technical Violation, An Offender May Be Imprisoned For 120 Days; To Provide That For A Fourth Technical Violation An Offender May Be Imprisoned For 180 Days; To Provide That For Five Or More Technical Violations An Offender May Be Imprisoned For The Remainder Of His Or Her Sentence; To Amend Section 47-7-27, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Section; And For Related Purposes.
