29 | 29 | | * Section 1. AS 34.03.020 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 3 |

30 | 30 | | (f) A landlord may not increase the rent for a dwelling unit more than once in 4 |

31 | 31 | | a calendar year. While rent is current, the landlord may not increase rent for the 5 |
---|
32 | 32 | | dwelling unit unless the landlord gives written notice to the tenant at least 90 days 6 |

33 | 33 | | before the date of the increase specified in the notice. Upon termination, either by a 7 |

34 | 34 | | landlord or by the expiration of the term, of a rental agreement or month to month 8 |
