2525 Proposing an amendment to the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature relating 1
2626 to committee records; and providing for an effective date for the amendment. 2
2727 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 3
2828 * Section 1. Rule 23(f), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, is amended to read: 4
2929 (f) Each standing, special, and joint committee shall 5
3030 (1) record its meetings electronically and prepare a log of the recording 6
3131 adequate to locate specific testimony; 7
3232 (2) prepare minutes of each meeting of the committee on a standard 8
3333 form prescribed jointly by the Rules Committees of the house and the senate; the 9
3434 minutes shall include 10
3535 (A) a list of the names of each member present during the 11
3636 meeting; 12
3737 (B) a list of the name and affiliation of each witness testifying 13
3838 before the committee; 14
3939 (C) a brief statement of the position of the witness on the 15
