Relating to Talladega County; to amend Sections 1 and 3 of Act 91-522 of the 1991 Regular Session (Acts 1991, p. 923), as amended by Act 2018-101 of the 2018 Regular Session, to further provide for the employment and duties of the county engineer; and to repeal Section 2 of Act 91-522, providing for nominations to fill the position by the state highway director.
Relating to Hale County; to authorize the sheriff to establish procedures for utilizing a credit card or debit card for limited purchases provided the proper procedures are followed.
Relating to Hale County; to provide for additional minimum qualifications for individuals elected or appointed to the office of sheriff, that the individual is a U.S. citizen, has been a resident and registered voter of Hale County for one year prior to qualifying or being appointed, is a high school graduate or the equivalent, is the age of 25 or older, has three years or more of law enforcement service, has never been convicted of a felony; and to require completion of continuing education.
Relating to Macon County; to provide for the salary of the judge of probate; to ratify and confirm prior payments to the judge of probate prior to the effective date of this act; and to repeal Section 45-44-84 of the Code of Alabama 1975, relating to Macon County and the salary of the judge of probate.
Relating to the Town of Garden City in Cullman County; to amend Section 45-22-100.07 of the Code of Alabama 1975, to authorize the town council to sell a portion of the former Garden City school property without a referendum.
Relating to Coffee County; to amend Section 45-16-62, Code of Alabama 1975, to further provide for the appointment of a chief deputy coroner and a deputy coroner, to provide for compensation for the chief deputy coroner and deputy coroner, and to repeal Section 45-16-61, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the appointment of a deputy coroner.
Relating to Autauga County; to authorize the sheriff to conduct fundraising events; to provide for the use of the proceeds; and to provide that this act is remedial and curative.
Relating to Cullman County; to amend Section 45-22-81.01 of the Code of Alabama 1975, providing for additional court costs in the state courts and the City of Cullman Municipal Court, to reallocate the use of the funds for the school resource officer program; and to provide retroactive effect.
Relating to Covington County; to amend Section 45-20-232, Code of Alabama 1975, to further provide for pistol permit fees; and to provide for lifetime permits.
Relating to Marshall County; to create a service of process fee to be charged for service of process by a sheriff of documents in the District Court, Circuit Court, Family Court, and Juvenile Court of the county; to create a service of process fee to be charged for service of process in actions instituted outside the state; and to provide for distribution of the proceeds of the fee.
