FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 110 as introduced proposes a Constitutional Amendment, which if ratified, would remove Geneva County from Amendment No. 429 and Amendment No. 759 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, which would disallow Geneva County to exercise certain powers regarding economic and industrial development.related to the promotion of local economic and industrial development.
Further, this amendment could increase the proclamation expenses of the Governor, paid from the State General Fund, by an estimated $100,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023.
