13 Relating to St. Clair County; to authorize the
14 county commission to appoint additional members to the board
15 of registrars.
16 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
17 Section 1. The St. Clair County Commission, in
18 coordination with the St. Clair County Judge of Probate, may
19 appoint additional members to the board of registrars pursuant
20 to Section 17-3-2(b) of the Code of Alabama 1975. Compensation
21 to the board of registrars added pursuant to this act shall be
22 paid in accordance with the provisions of 17-3-5 of the Code
23 of Alabama 1975.
24 Section 2. This act shall become effective on the
25 first day of the third month following its passage and
26 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
