2 ENROLLED, An Act,
3 Relating to St. Clair County; to authorize the
4 county commission to appoint additional members to the board
5 of registrars.
6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
7 Section 1. The St. Clair County Commission, in
8 coordination with the St. Clair County Judge of Probate, may
9 appoint additional members to the board of registrars pursuant
10 to Section 17-3-2(b) of the Code of Alabama 1975. Compensation
11 to the board of registrars added pursuant to this act shall be
12 paid in accordance with the provisions of 17-3-5 of the Code
13 of Alabama 1975.
14 Section 2. This act shall become effective on the
15 first day of the third month following its passage and
16 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
