11		-	4 2021-2022 VESTAVIA HILLS HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN CAMPUS TEACHER

14		-	7 WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
15		-	8 conveyed to Ms. Jordan Singletary for being named 2021-2022
16		-	9 Vestavia Hills High School Freshman Campus Teacher of the
17		-	10 Year; and
18		-	11 WHEREAS, at Vestavia Hills High School Freshman
19		-	12 Campus, Ms. Singletary teaches ninth grade Honors World
20		-	13 History and is the sponsor of the Girls' Fellowship of
21		-	14 Christian Athletes; previously, she taught at the main campus
22		-	15 for six years; she cares about her students immensely,
23		-	16 stating, "In the teaching profession, we always joke about all
24		-	17 the different hats we wear. Counselor, educator, friend,
25		-	18 parent, coach, party planner, etc. My goal every day is to be
26		-	19 what my students need me to be and to meet them where they
27		-	20 are. All of that starts with having to really get to know
28		-	21 them, their likes and dislikes, their study habits, their home
29		-	22 life. Establishing that relationship and rapport with them is
30		-	23 very important to me, and I believe in their success in
31		-	24 school. Some students need a safe place to hang out, while

33		-	1 others need me to make it mandatory that they come to my study
34		-	2 sessions"; and
35		-	3 WHEREAS, a woman of steadfast selflessness and
36		-	4 commitment, Ms. Singletary is an incredible inspiration and
37		-	5 leader who is very deserving of special recognition; now
38		-	6 therefore,
39		-	7 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
40		-	8 HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That Ms. Jordan Singletary is
41		-	9 highly congratulated for being named 2021-2022 Vestavia Hills
42		-	10 High School Freshman Campus Teacher of the Year, and we hereby
43		-	11 dedicate this resolution to her with heartiest appreciation
44		-	12 and admiration, along with sincere best wishes for continued
45		-	13 happiness and success in all future endeavors.
