HR____ CONGRATULATING THE PLAINVIEW HIGH SCHOOL BOYS
BASKETBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2023 ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL
ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION CLASS 3A STATE BASKETBALL
CHAMPIONSHIP.
WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
presented to the Plainview High School Boys Basketball Team
for winning the 2023 Alabama High School Athletic
Association Class 3A State Basketball Championship; and
WHEREAS, through teamwork, diligence, and a
commitment to excellence, the Plainview High School Boys
Basketball Team, the Bears, victoriously beat Midfield High
School 40-37, capturing the 2023 Alabama High School
Athletic Association Class 3A State Basketball Championship
win; Plainview High School also won state titles in 2018,
2019, and 2022; and
WHEREAS, the talented members of the Plainview High
School Boys Basketball Team are Joseph Hutcheson, Owen
Wilborn, Ethan Williams, Levi Brown, Dylan Haymon, Landon
White, Ben Chandler, Beau Taylor, Caleb Clines, Luke Smith,
Ian Martin, Sawyer Fraley, Brody Long, Jonah Williams, Ty
Griggs, and Austin Anderson; and

WHEREAS, expert guidance and leadership were provided
by Head Coach Robi Coker; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Plainview High School
Boys Basketball Team are inspirations to many in their
communities and beyond; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the Plainvew High School Boys
Basketball Team is highly congratulated for winning the 2023
Alabama High School Athletic Class 3A State Basketball
Championship, and we hereby dedicate this resolution to the
team members and their Head Coach with utmost admiration,
along with sincere best wishes for continued success in all
future endeavors.
