18 | 18 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: | |
19 | 19 | Section 1. Section 14-5-12 is added to the Code of | |
20 | 20 | Alabama 1975, to read as follows: | |

22 | 22 | An inmate may not participate in any program that | |
23 | 23 | trains dogs to recognize scents or track humans. | |
24 | 24 | Section 2. This act shall become effective on the first | |
25 | 25 | day of the third month following its passage and approval by | |
26 | 26 | the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law. | |
