15+SYNOPSIS:
16+This bill would provide for a portion of
17+Tennessee Valley Authority in-lieu-of-taxes payments
18+distributed to any county where an agricultural
19+authority has been incorporated pursuant to Article 3
20+of Chapter 20, Title 11, Code of Alabama 1975, to be
21+distributed to the agricultural authority in the county
22+to be used for the purposes of the authority upon
23+approval by a majority vote of the local legislative
24+delegation who reside in the county.

26+TO BE ENTITLED
27+AN ACT
1528 Relating to any county where an agricultural authority
1629 has been incorporated pursuant to Article 3 of Chapter 20,
1730 Title 11, Code of Alabama 1975; to provide, under certain
1831 conditions, for a portion of Tennessee Valley Authority
1932 in-lieu-of-taxes payments distributed to the county pursuant
2033 to Section 40-28-2, Code of Alabama 1975, to be distributed to
2134 the agricultural authority in the county to be used for the
2235 purposes of the authority.
2336 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
24-Section 1. In any county where an agricultural
25-authority has been incorporated prior to September 1, 2017,
26-under the provisions of Article 3, commencing with Section
27-11-20-70 of Chapter 20, Title 11, Code of Alabama 1975, for
28-the purpose of constructing and operating facilities to
29-promote agricultural business and economic development, 70
30-percent of the payments made to the county commission of the
31-county pursuant to Section 40-28-2, Code of Alabama 1975,
32-shall be distributed by the county, upon approval of a
33-majority vote of the local legislative delegation residing in
34-the county, to the agricultural authority to be used for the
35-purposes of the authority, notwithstanding any other general
36-or local law to the contrary.
37-Section 2. All laws or parts of laws which conflict
38-with this act are repealed.
39-Section 3. This act shall become effective immediately

68+this act under the provisions of Article 3, commencing with
69+Section 11-20-70 of Chapter 20, Title 11, Code of Alabama
