| 15 | 18 | Relating to Madison County; to repeal Act 466 of the | |

| 21 | 24 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: | |
| 22 | 25 | Section 1. Upon the effective date of this act, the | |
| 23 | 26 | Madison County Board of Barber Examiners is abolished. Any | |
| 24 | 27 | person subject to Acts 466 of the 1939 Regular Session and Act | |
| 25 | 28 | 435 of the 1978 Regular Session, establishing the County Board | |
| 26 | 29 | of Barber Examiners shall instead be subject to the provisions | |
| 27 | 30 | of Chapter 7B of Title 34, Code of Alabama 1975, establishing | |
| 28 | 31 | the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering, except that | |
| 29 | 32 | any license issued by the County Board of Barber Examiners | |
| 30 | 33 | prior to the effective date of this act shall remain valid | |
| 31 | 34 | until its expiration date. | |
| 32 | 35 | Section 2. Act 466 of the 1939 Regular Session and Act | |
| 33 | 36 | 435 of the 1978 Regular Session establishing the Madison | |
| 34 | 37 | County Board of Barber Examiners are repealed. | |
