BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Orange Beach in Baldwin County are altered, rearranged, extended, and redefined so as to include within the corporate limits of the City of Orange Beach, in addition to the territory presently contained within the corporate limits of the City of Orange Beach, all of the following territory: Tract 1. Parcels 10, 11, and 12, Coyote Flats being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of Section 23, Township 8 South, Range 4 East, Baldwin County, Alabama; thence run S89°43’06”E, 2675.21 feet to a point; thence run S00°00’11”E, 16.39 feet to a point on the south right-of-way line of Russian Road and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence run N89°45’14”E, along said south right-of-way line, 599.83 feet to a point; thence run S00°03’12”E, leaving said south right-of-way line, 1317.05 feet to a point; thence run N89°36’33”W, 601.23 feet to a point; thence run N00°00’26”E, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 SB333 INTRODUCEDSB333 INTRODUCED Page 2 1312.30 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, lying in Section 23, Township 8 South, Range 4 East, Baldwin County, Alabama. TRACT 2. The North Half (N ½) of the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of Section 24, Township 8 South, Range 4 East, Baldwin County, Alabama. LESS AND EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING PARCEL: Commence at the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 8 South, Range 4 East, Baldwin County, Alabama for the point of beginning; run thence North 89 degrees 39 minutes 15 seconds East along the North line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 24 for 184.47 feet; run thence South 44 degrees 50 minutes 57 seconds West for 261.77 feet; run thence North 00 degrees 02 minutes 39 seconds East for 184.47 feet to the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 34, township 8 South, Range 4 East Baldwin County, Alabama and the point of beginning. TRACT 3. Commencing at the Southwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 8 South, Range 5 East, Baldwin County, Alabama; thence East 40.00 feet to the East right of way line of County Road #95; thence North along said right of way line for 547.90 feet and point of beginning; thence continue North along same course for 252.70 feet; thence East for 480.00 feet; thence South for 252.70 feet; thence West 480.00 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. The Legislature finds that the territory described and annexed pursuant to this act is not subject to referendum election pursuant to Section 2-11.40 of the Constitution of Alabama of 2022. Section 3. All territory annexed in the corporate limits of the City of Orange Beach under the provisions of this act shall be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Orange Beach, and the City Council of the City of Orange Beach shall have and exercise the same and exclusive jurisdiction over the annexed territory that is presently exercised over territory within the corporate limits of the City of Orange Beach. Section 4. In accordance with Section 11-42-6 of the Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Orange Beach is on file in the Office of the Judge of Probate in Baldwin County, Alabama, and the map is open to the inspection of the public. Section 5.
