Senate Bill 335 as reported by the Committee of Fiscal Responsibility and Economic
Development would increase the financial obligations of the Alabama Board of Examiners in
Counseling by a board estimated $100,000 to establish the Alabama Licensed Counselor
Wellness Committee consisting of not less than 3, nor more than 9 licensee members to provide
for the operation of the Alabama Licensed Counselor Wellness Program created by the
provisions of this bill to develop, maintain and make available treatment programs for all
licensees who voluntarily seek medical intervention treatment and rehabilitation for an
impairment.
