Enrolled, An Act,
Relating to Macon County; to ratify and confirm prior
salary payments to the judge of probate prior to the effective
date of this act.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. The amount of any salary payments made to
the Judge of Probate of Macon County beginning on January 15,
2019, and ending on March 31, 2022, which were incorrectly
paid through no fault of the judge of probate, are ratified
and confirmed. The salary of the judge of probate shall
continue to be the salary provided pursuant to Section 11-2A-2
of the Code of Alabama 1975, as provided for in Act 2009-784.
Section 2. This act shall become effective immediately
following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its
otherwise becoming law.
