22 | 30 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: | |
23 | 31 | Section 1. The following amendment to the Constitution | |
24 | 32 | of Alabama of 2022, is proposed: | |
25 | 33 | PROPOSED AMENDMENT | |
26 | 34 | The Legislature, by local law, may fix, alter, and | |
27 | 35 | regulate court costs in Covington County and provide for | |
28 | 36 | distribution of the costs. | |
29 | 37 | Upon ratification of this constitutional amendment, the | |
30 | 38 | Code Commissioner shall number and place this amendment as | |
31 | - | appropriate in the constitution omitting this instructional | |
32 | - | paragraph and may make the following nonsubstantive revisions: | |
33 | - | change capitalization, hierarchy, spelling, and punctuation | |
34 | - | for purposes of style and uniformity; correct manifest | |
35 | - | grammatical, clerical, and typographical errors; revise | |
36 | - | internal or external citations and cross-references; and | |
37 | - | translate effective dates. | |
