	17	+	AN ACT
16	18		Relating to Colbert County; to authorize the county
17	19		board of education and the Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, and
18	20		Tuscumbia City Boards of Education to insure school buildings
19	21		and property under their jurisdiction either through the State
20	22		Insurance Fund or with a private insurance company.
21	23		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
22	24		Section 1. In accordance with Section 41-15-1, Code of
23	25		Alabama 1975, the Colbert County Board of Education may insure
24	26		school buildings and property under the jurisdiction of the
25	27		board through the State Insurance Fund or with a private
26	28		insurance company, which in the opinion of the board, provides
27	29		the best coverage for the school buildings and property.
28	30		Section 2. In accordance with Section 41-15-1, Code of
29	31		Alabama 1975, the Muscle Shoals City Board of Education in
30	32		Colbert County may insure school buildings and property under
31	33		the jurisdiction of the board through the State Insurance Fund
32	34		or with a private insurance company, which in the opinion of
33	35		the board, provides the best coverage for the school buildings
34	36		and property.
35	37		Section 3. In accordance with Section 41-15-1, Code of
36		-	Alabama 1975, the Sheffield City Board of Education in Colbert
37		-	County may insure school buildings and property under the
38		-	jurisdiction of the board through the State Insurance Fund or
39		-	with a private insurance company, which in the opinion of the

79	81		Section 5. This act shall become effective on June 1,
