BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Childersburg and the Town of Bon Air in Talladega County are altered and rearranged to remove from the corporate limits of the Town of Bon Air all of the following territory and to add the territory to the City of Childersburg: 26.38 acre tract Commence at a 1" pipe in place being the Southeast corner of the Northeast one-fourth of the Southeast one-fourth of Section 29, Township 20 South, Range 3 East, Talladega County, Alabama; thence proceed South 00° 56' 10" West along the West boundary of the Southwest one-fourth of the Southwest one-fourth for a distance of 230.62 feet to a railroad rail in place thence proceed North 59° 37' 32" East for a distance of 343.65 feet to a 5/8" capped rebar in place (Bailey), proceed North 59° 22' 17" East for a distance of 299.99 feet; thence proceed North 30° 40' 22" West for a distance of 725.99 feet to a 5/8" capped rebar in place (Bailey), said point being 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 HB443 INTRODUCED Page 2 to a 5/8" capped rebar in place (Bailey), said point being located on the Southerly right-of-way of Faye S. C. of a concave curve left having an arc distance of 266.72 feet and a radius of 2474.99 feet; thence proceed Northeasterly along the Southerly right-of-way of said road and along the curvature of said curve for a chord bearing and distance of North 55° 51' 49" East, 266.59 feet to the point of beginning. From this beginning point continue Northeasterly along the Southerly right-of-way of said Faye S. The above described land is located in the Southeast one-fourth of the Northwest one-fourth, the Northeast one-fourth of the Southwest one-fourth and the Southeast one-fourth of the Southwest one-fourth of Section 28, Township 20 South, Range 3 East, Talladega County, Alabama and contains 26.38 acres. Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6 of the Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing the proposed territory to be removed from the Town of Bon Air and added to the City of Childersburg is on file and open to public inspection in the Office of the Judge of Probate in Talladega County.
