HR___ COMMENDING THE CREEKSIDE ACADEMY HOMESCHOOL
COOPERATIVE ROBOTICS TEAM ON WINNING THE 2023 BEST ROBOTICS
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
presented to the Creekside Academy Homeschool Cooperative
Robotics Team on winning the 2023 BEST Robotics National
Championship; and
WHEREAS, Creekside Technology, the robotics team of
Creekside Academy Homeschool Cooperative, joined an elite
percentage of the world by winning the 2023 National BEST
Robotics Championship; and
WHEREAS, Creekside Academy is a homeschool
cooperative made up of 36 families from Lauderdale and
Colbert counties in Northwest Alabama; of the 55 eligible
students, 27 students in grades 6-12 form the robotics team;
of those 27 students, 17 are high school students and 10 are
middle school students; when it comes to competition, 14 of
the students focus on marketing and 13 of the students focus
on engineering; and
WHEREAS, the dedicated members of the 2023 BEST
Robotics National Championship Team, Creekside Technology,
are Christian Alexander, Mark Angel, Kaylin Angel, Rhodes
Berryman, Sidda lea Berryman, Avery Clark, Zoe Clark, Conley
Ford, Oakley Ford, Aslan Gilchrist, Lily Gilchrist, Hayden

WHEREAS, the honored and esteemed coaches are Danny
and Carol Scheele; and Colin Scheele, who is an Academy
graduate and team mentor; now therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That robotics team Creekside
Technology is highly honored and commended on being named
the 2023 BEST Robotics National Champions, and we hereby
dedicate this resolution to the team members and coaches
from Creekside Academy Homeschool Cooperative in warmest
admiration, along with best wishes for continued success in
all future endeavors.
