| 16 | + | Under existing law, termination dates are | |
| 17 | + | established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies | |
| 18 | + | are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset | |
| 19 | + | Committee. After the review process is completed, the | |
| 20 | + | committee prepares its recommendations for the agencies | |
| 21 | + | to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which | |
| 22 | + | either continue, terminate, or continue with | |
| 23 | + | modification each agency reviewed. | |
| 24 | + | This bill would provide for the continuance of | |
| 25 | + | the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board until October 1, | |

| 20 | 34 | Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the | |
| 21 | 35 | Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Alcoholic | |
| 22 | 36 | Beverage Control Board until October 1, 2028. | |
| 23 | - | Section 2. The existence and functioning of the | |
| 24 | - | Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, created and functioning | |
| 25 | - | pursuant to Section 28-3-40, specifically, and Title 28, Code | |
| 26 | - | of Alabama 1975, generally, is continued, and those code | |
| 27 | - | sections are expressly preserved. | |
| 28 | - | Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the | |
| 29 | - | recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in | |
| 30 | - | Sections 1 and 2. | |
