	15	+	SYNOPSIS:
	16	+	Under existing law, termination dates are
	17	+	established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies
	18	+	are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset
	19	+	Committee. After the review process is completed, the
	20	+	committee prepares its recommendation for the agencies
	21	+	to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which
	22	+	either continue, terminate, or continue with
	23	+	modification each agency reviewed.
	24	+	This bill would provide for the continuance of
	25	+	the State Board of Auctioneers until October 1, 2028.
	26	+	A BILL
	27	+	TO BE ENTITLED
	28	+	AN ACT
16	29		Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
17	30		existence and functioning of the State Board of Auctioneers
18	31		until October 1, 2028.
19	32		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
20	33		Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
21	34		Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the State Board
22	35		of Auctioneers until October 1, 2028.
23	36		Section 2. The existence and functioning of the State
24		-	Board of Auctioneers, created and functioning pursuant to
25		-	Chapter 4 of Title 34, Code of Alabama 1975, is continued, and
26		-	those code sections are expressly preserved.
27		-	Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
28		-	recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
29		-	Sections 1 and 2.
30		-	Section 4. This act shall become effective June 1,
31		-	2024.
