| 16 | + | Under existing law, termination dates are | |
| 17 | + | established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies | |
| 18 | + | are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset | |
| 19 | + | Committee. After the review process is completed, the | |
| 20 | + | committee prepares its recommendations for the agencies | |
| 21 | + | to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which | |
| 22 | + | either continue, terminate, or continue with | |
| 23 | + | modification each agency reviewed. | |
| 24 | + | This bill would provide for the continuance of | |
| 25 | + | the Alabama Security Regulatory Board until October 1, | |

| 20 | 34 | Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the | |
| 21 | 35 | Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Alabama | |
| 22 | 36 | Security Regulatory Board until October 1, 2027. | |
| 23 | - | Section 2. The existence and functioning of the Alabama | |
| 24 | - | Security Regulatory Board, created and functioning pursuant to | |
| 25 | - | Chapter 27C of Title 34, Code of Alabama 1975, is continued | |
| 26 | - | until October 1, 2027, and those code sections are expressly | |
| 27 | - | preserved. | |
| 28 | - | Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the | |
| 29 | - | recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in | |
