Boards of registrars, further providing for the membership of each board, increasing the salary of each registrar, and providing for the employment status of each registrar
Relating to the Department of Finance; to amend Sections 41-4-3 and 41-4-50, Code of Alabama 1975; to provide for the charging of a reasonable fee for services provided by the Department and to allow the State Comptroller to pay a vendor which is entitled to payment for services or goods rendered to the State.
Relating to motor vehicle licenses; to amend Section 32-6-4.3 and Sections 32-6-6, 32-6-6.1, 32-6-15, and 32-6-21, as last amended by Act 2022-300, 2022 Regular Session, Code of Alabama 1975, to eliminate all fees associated with the issuance of a driver license or nondriver identification card to qualified disabled veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
Relating to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline; to require the Department of Mental Health to develop, administer, and adopt rules relating to Alabama's Crisis System of Care; to create the Alabama 988 Crisis Care Fund; to provide for the collection and use of a statewide surcharge on certain communication service connections; to create the 988 Commission to provide oversight to the fund; and to protect certain communication service providers from certain liability.
Relating to Medicaid; to expand the program to provide assistance to certain state residents; to direct the Alabama Medicaid Agency to implement the expansion; to direct other state agencies and entities to provide certain assistance; and to provide for appropriations for adequate funding.
